We stopped her for lunch on the way to Dallas for a short visit.
We got here at 1145; the place was about 20% full.
Service was quick. I had iced tea, it was good.
I got a chicken fried steak. It was hand breaded. The breading had a bit of garlic in it. The steak was thin and pretty tough. I was not impressed. The gravy was OK. The mashed potatoes were not good; they tasted like they were reconstituted. I didn’t finish either. The green beans were OK.
Raegan got a BLT and said it was OK.
Ian got chicken strips and liked them. His came with okra and kernal corn.
We left about 1235, the place was about 1/3 full. Our check was $28.22. I don’t think I will stop here again. Two Frogs across the street is *much* better.
This is my second real-time blog post for a restaurant. The first was Two Frogs. I was using my laptop for that one, and a hotel Wi-Fi link. This one is via the WordPress for BlackBerry app.
