I was driving Raegan down to Girl Scout Camp E-Ko-Wah for the last of her Troop Camp Training, and Chickasaw is on the way. We needed dinner, and there were a lot of cars outside La Fiesta, so we checked it out. We got there around 1800, were immediately seated, and left around 1845.
We were served warm chips (light and crunchy) and an excellent salsa. The salsa – I liked that stuff. It was a medium consistency, had a rich flavor, and minimal bite. Great stuff.
Raegan got a chicken chimi and pronounced it excellent.
I got the EN1, or enchiladas mexican. This was three enchiladas, one each cheese, chicken, and beef, each with a different sauce. I changed it by replacing the cheese with a second chicken. The flavor and temperature of the meal was perfect. I gave the sour cream and guacamole to Raegan. The rest, including the rice and lettuce, was all consumed, not a bit left. The meal had great flavor, and when I added some of that wonderful salsa, it was just perfect tex-mex.
This was a superior Tex-Mex restaurant. I would have no problem eating here again, the next time I am in the Chickasha area. Our check was $20.73. Service was excellent.
