Stopped here on the return trip home, after noticing the restaurant while headed towards Seminole this afternoon.
We got there about 1750 and left at 1840. I got a chicken fried steak; about a 7 out of 10, it was fork tender but didn’t have a lot of flavor. Came with green beans (right out of the can) and decent mashers and gravy. Ian got chicken tenders, he said they were good. Raegan got the catfish/clams/shrimp, and said they were OK. We got some onion rings, they were the best part of the meal, perfectly cooked. The ranch dressing was excellent. The salad was basically lettuce chopped up like slaw. The tea was good.
So the meal was average quality. Our check was $37.11. The restaurant is cash only. So for average food, and a cash-only attitude that says “we don’t really need your money”, I will not likely be back. Service was very good.
