We stopped in Arco for lunch on the way to Craters of the Moon National Monument. Golden West is on the east side of town. We got there around 1215 and left around 1315.
I got an open faced roast beef sandwich, which came on white bread, with mashers, and brown gravy. It was pretty darn good; the roast beef was tender and tasty. The meal included a salad which was chopped up iceberg and ranch dressing. Raegan got a BLT; it had three layers of bacon and was excellent. Ian got a CFS with mashers and gravy and corn. It was excellent, a 9.6 out of 10.
The tea was good, and I got a vanilla milkshake that was very good. Our check was $41.61. Service was a little slow, but it was pretty busy. You could do far worse than Golden West.
